Etude House: AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot!~

image

Annyeong haseyo!!!! ACNE DAYS ARE OVER~ well almost! I got this last April I think, and I have been using it since then~ :> I was in desperate need of a product to completely dry out my pimples! The pimples that I got from the Body Shop tea tree line fully bloomed :))) AND OMO WAS MY SKIN SO BUMPY WITH HUGE ANGRY PIMPLES!

I was kinda afraid at first to try out new acne fighting products but because I have tried a few products from Etude House’s line of special care products (AC Clinic Clay Pack, AC White Trouble Essencializer & Toner that all did wonders to my skin) I had trust that it could somehow work and if it does not work, hoped that it will not worsen my condition.

image

While I was looking for spot treatments, I was also persuaded by Krystal (fx) that this product might be the one~ :)) kekeke~ HAVE YOU SEEN HER SKIN?~ this is the haul she did recently^ Spot the spot treatment!

image

This spot treatment is a part of a very meticulous AC Clinic Intense Skincare sequence:

Foam Cleanser > Toner > Gel Lotion > Red Spot Balm > Pink Powder Spot.

image

Note the word… Intense! :)) Etude House has special care lines formulated for different needs~ And the AC line is particularly for trouble care needs~ Plus this one is non-comedogenic (^-^)/~

image

Etude House AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot is formulated with Salicylic Acid and Hinoki Cypress, AC Clinic delivers trouble care. Pink Powder alleviates trouble swelling on contact to minimize damage. Comes with cotton swabs for application.

image

{Directions:} Do not shake bottle. After facial care, allow powder to settle at the bottom. Perpendicularly dip cotton swab into bottle to draw powder from bottle. Use swab to dab trouble spots and acne with swab top to coat with powder.

image

Tadaaaan! kekeke~ Excuse the missing cotton swabs and the almost used up bottles :))) The package looks like this :> Neatly and nicely packaged into a plastic backing holding the items :)

image

Maybe you are wondering why there are 2 bottles~ The bigger one is the actual product called the Pink Powder Spot and the smaller one is a freebie (YEAY we all love freebies!) which is called Pink Powder Water~ Then the kit also contains a number of spade like tipped cotton swabs :)

image

The packaging is of course is still designed in accordance (haha what a word XD) with the whole line. The glass is similar to the thick glass bottles of the gel lotion and toner~ It’s in the same shade of green and looks like it means business~

image

The bottle only contains 15ml of product and will expire 12 months after opening~ though I used up mine in a span of utmost 2 months!

image

I should have taken a photo of the product before I used them all up XD Squint your eyes and see the liquid over the powder~ The liquid should not be mixed with the powder and the powder should stay settled at the bottom~

image

As for the product’s color… yes you’ve guessed it right! It’s in a pink color ^-^

image

Using the cotton swabs will help in getting the powder out without mixing the two components together~

image

The scent might not be that attractive to some and smells like it really is a medication treatment! And now that the liquid is almost gone, the powder smells really strong and almost smokey~ (Not smoke from a cigarette but smoke from burning leaves)

image

The product smells like Calamine Lotion, looks like it and feels like it~ Maybe… just maybe, this is calamine lotion that is nicely packaged @.@ hmmm…. BUT I noticed that this one works stronger~ more INTENSELY than normal calamine~

image

Since the product has less liquid now, the powder is quite thick! The stingy sensation will only be felt if the pimple is really ripe and if the pimple is popped! I use this every night after I’ve put on my emulsion and wait for it to dry up a little before I shut my eyes because it could transfer to pillows! It’s a bit picky too because if you sleep with just the fan on and if it’s hot, it will totally MELT -.-

image

Now onto the freebie! This freebie is so great! If the Pink Powder Spot is for night time, the Pink Powder Water is for the day! :D

image

As you could see~ the Pink Powder Water also has powder and liquid components~ To use this particular product, you have to do the opposite and shake the bottle before using.

image

OMO!!! SAME ml!!! kekeke~ the freebie is also 15 ml!!!

Formulated with Sulfur Powder (antibiotic), Salicylic Acid and Hinoki Cypress extract, AC Clinic Pink Powder Water soothes, heals, and brightens blemishes with a more powerful, advanced medicated formula.

Pink Powder Water solution alleviates trouble swelling on contact to minimize damage.

image

And because you will look funny if you have white blotches like this^ on your face if you go out~ you could top it off with makeup after it dries! AWESOME! :D This one feels milder and does not sting as much compared to the Pink Powder Spot~

image

Comparison~ The Spot treatment is much thicker and smells stronger~ The water is less opaque and dries faster too!

Now onto the slightly horrifying photos of my super bad acne that super bloomed and loved my cheeks~ If you are eating something~ Please look away :)))

image

This is my FIRST time to experience such horrible all out once sprouting of pimples! Before, I experience zits and I only get them like 3 at a time, but never this many and this huge -.-

See how good these products are?!!!! :D :D OH YEAH!!! I was really really sad with what happened to my skin! But the AC Special Care line is such a blessing because it slowly and gently helped me combat acne! I did not experience any peeling, any redness and any additional breakouts while using this! And take note that these two were the only acne fighting products that I used during the duration of the dates.

image

The two work hand in hand to cure pimples~ DAY= Pink Powder Water, NIGHT= Pink Powder Spot. As you could see, the pimples did not disappear over night but it slowly worked and did its thing.

I was so impressed by how these two worked so I bought a complimenting skin care product called their AC Clinic Gel Lotion :) Oh a bottle of the AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot costs 628 pesos with a free 15ml Pink Powder Water :)

I suggest trying these out if you want an effective yet non-harsh spot treatment! :) And if you currently have acne as bad as I did, don’t ever give up cause for sure you’ll find a product that will suit your skin! If a product does not work for you even though it is so crazily expensive, stop using it cause the aftermath will only be disastrous.
