Organic Dokudami (Houttuynia cordata) is a strong component of our Detox Foot Pads. It has a long history in healing as well as cooking. It is a powerful Eastern herb that is gaining in popularity in Western naturopathic medicine. It’s gaining more acceptance, too, as the research continues to bear out Dokudami’s positive effects.
Dokudami is also known a ‘Houttuynia cordata’, which translates from Chinese as ‘fishy-smell herb’. It is a flowering plant that grows across many Asian countries, including Japan, Korea, southern China and Southeast Asia.

Aloe vera is becoming real popular nowadays with different Korean Cosmetics brand creating products using this as the main ingredient! That’s because Aloe Vera helps in healing sunburn, aids in the healing process and acts to protect and moisturize!

It’s super soaked! I used this after toning. Then carefully place it and remove mask sheet after 10 or 15 min (I prefer having it on for 30 :D). Remove and gently pat for skin to absorb~

From my interpretation this mask contains 200 mg of snail mucin :D I got this as a freebie when I bought a mask at SM North (You can choose either to get this or the Rice Brightening one :D) Buy one mask, get one mask~
Believe me~ I was not really ecstatic about the idea of snail goo on my face XD but because I’ve read many online articles about how awesome Snail goo is, I thought I’d give it a try :)

The snail’s secretion have unusual proteins and glycosaminoglycans (complex sugar structures) is their above average bio-availability and signaling function, which allows them to minimize scar tissue formation as well as reversing existent scar tissues.
Howto Use:
- After applying toner. Pull out mask sheet from package and unfold.
- Apply the mask sheet onto the face from the lower (chin) pat of the mask and move upward toward the forehead.
- Remove mask sheet after 20 to 25 minutes. Gently pat remaining formula into skin.
*Use 2 to 3 times a week for the best result.
Essence does not feel watery~ (maybe it’s because of the snail mucin!!!) After a few minutes I felt the mask to tighten, and it felt great while the mask was on.
Oh~~ There are 8 cuts (I noticed that each brand has a unique design for their masks :D)

Natural Mask (Pearl)
Essence mask contains pearl extract that promotes natural skin glow. Tension fit design for improved facial adhesion and comfort.
Active Ingredients: Pearl extract
Directions: Apply mask to cleansed face and leave on for 20~30 minutes. Remove mask and massage remaining solution into skin with hands. Recommended interval for mask application is every 2~3 days for maximum efficacy.
It also says it expires after 12 months of opening~ So if you’ve got much essence left, you can store it in a clean bottle and use it some other time! :D
I’m not that impressed with the mask design because it only has 2 cuts for fitting.

I was also shocked that my skin looked brighter! And that is just after 30 min with the mask on! :) OMO amazing! It really does give a glowing effect~

Onul Chonyok (Tonight~)!!!! I’ll be reviewing a mask from none other than… Tony Moly! :) I got this a few days back and since I wanted to relax yesterday I tested this one out! :D
What made me get this mask is that it has GREEN TEA <3 one of my favorite drinks of all time :) And I know that green tea is really great for the skin!
Green tea catechins are anti-bacterial and can decrease hormone activity. This means green tea is an effective way to control acne, without the unpleasant side effects of benzoyl peroxide-based creams.
A 2003 study carried out by Dr. Jennifer Gan-Wong of Memorial Medical Center in the Philippines showed that green tea cream was as good as benzoyl peroxide cream in treating acne conditions with fewer side effects.
The researchers noted the green tea cream seemed to lighten patients’ skin color and improve the overall appearance of their complexion.

So for this rainy and cold day I’m going to review about Etude House’s Moistfull Mask~
I got this as a freebie a few months back XD (I think it was last summer) And I decided to use it just now because of the cold weather :) I felt like my skin needed moisture during these days.
It’s pink, cute and has a nice packaging! :>
It’s all in Korean/ Hangeul so I had to rely on my common sense :)) It’s a mask so you just have to put it on your face, relax, and take it off. No need to wash your face afterwards, just make sure you wash your face before putting the mask on!~
It’s super soaked! The mask fits my face just fine :)
Oozing with moistfull essence! I even had to put some of the essence in a jar to keep! Then after 20+ minutes the mask was still soaked with essence so I wiped some on my hands :) It felt great!
The face mask looks like it’s smiling~ kekeke so creepy. I left the mask on for a good 20+ minutes. It was wonderfully relaxing! And when I took it off my skin felt smooth and SUPER moisturized!
PROS:
- not heavily scented
- made my skin smooth
- couldn’t stop touching my face
- relaxing
- simple pink packaging looks super cute!
- really moistfull!~
CONS:
- no part for eyelids T.T

The lady was very nice! :D Though she can’t speak straight english, she asked me if I wanted animal print or gradation? then pink or orange? I chose orange because it’s summer!! :D

Omo! I’m so happy to introduce to you my food stock :)) While I was browsing through SM department store I saw these :) It caught my eye because of the food that was printed on them waha looks so yummy! So I decided to get all the varieties :D
Purederm is made in Korea and they sell skincare products and bb creams too!
All types has collagen and vitamin e :D Collagen fights aging (which I think I don’t need because I look like a child X)) ) Vitamin E is an antioxidant, sun protection and sun burn treatment, anti aging :D so much benefits! :)
Aloe Extract: soothing, relaxing, de-stressing
Olive Oil: skin brightening and softening
Cucumber Extract: moisturizing and making skin healthy

All of the packs smell delicious! (Well my favorites are the grape and the strawberry!!! Smell is just appetizing!) If you have a thing for yummy smelling packs then these are perfect! :D
How to use:
- Thoroughly cleanse and dry face
- Apply mask to face and massage evenly
- After five to ten minutes wash with warm water
It’s a wash off type pack. :D So I used theFACEshop’s nylon fiber brush (used for applying wash off masks, costs 175 pesos) Since the product is loose (?!? meaning not on a facial mask :D) it’s kind of messy, but the upside is that one 10ml pack can accommodate 3 faces :)) (waha! yes me, my sister and my mom shares a single pack) The pack contains so much product inside and it’s good to share! :D
At first it would feel really sticky but after massaging it for about a minute the product will go on smoothly. :)
There were difference in results though, my mom felt that it was bit itchy while I was applying it on her face, while my sister felt little stings while me i felt absolutely nothing (OMO my super unsensitive face XD) My sister had a few pimples afterwards but I had none. So I won’t suggest this to people with very sensitive skin.
