The Hallyu Wave has definitely reached many parts of Asia! The wave is a mixture of K-Pop, K-drama & movie, Korean food and of course, the thing that makes Korean celebs beautiful- Korean cosmetics! Currently, Korean cosmetic brands have become an important part of a girl’s (and guy’s) collection of beauty essentials so here’s a list of some brands that already have made or are still making a mark in the international community. These are brands are available in my country, the Philippines and in other parts of Asia/Southeast Asia as well.
Fancy yourself some Korean Cosmetic goodies and instantly feel SeOul beautiful! kekeke~

1. Beauty Credit or Somang 소망화장품
It’s a very nice brand which is sadly not as popular as the others. It’s being endorsed by the lovable and youthful 구혜선 Ku Hye Sun, best known as Boy’s Over Flower’s Geum Jandi! The items are beautifully packed and they look really classy and cute at the same time. Adorable rocking horse as an emblem! The prices are very affordable and reasonable.

2. Etude House 에뛰드 하우스
I’m sure most of you guys know the next brand, considering that they received 106,000+ likes (and counting) on Facebook! I think that Etude House’s Philippine fan page has the most number of likes amongst all the Etude House fan pages all over the world! It’s a pink playhouse fit for a girly girl princess, afterall.

Welcome to Etude House!
Their interiors are filled with pink goodness! Yup, they managed to place a chandelier in a small space. ^^ What I love most about Etude House is that they value their costumers dearly! They’ll treat you like royalties by calling you “Princess” or “Prince” whenever you’d enter the shop! They would also assist you and they are very welcoming. Their products are the girliest ones out there in the market, which is just one reason why I’m a big fan! Their cuteness appeal is overwhelming for those who will enter the shop the first time. I like that they have a specific audience and focuses on how to make that audience happy! Their girly appeal may not suit everybody but it sure draws a lot of attention.
They also change products really frequently, and I MEAN REALLY REALLY frequently… It’s both a bad and a good thing! Bad thing is that your favorite product might get phased out. Good thing is that you would always have something new to look forward to!
As for the price range, it’s quite affordable and you’ll be sure that the quality is great! Their BB creams are a must-try and you could start having a nail polish collection from their numerous color palette! I am a great fan of their brushes too!

Annyong haseyo!!! I’m still alive~ It’s been I think 2 weeks since my last review??? I’ve been lurking around tumblr and not been doing reviews… OMO SCHOOL IS COOL~ nyahaa a few more weeks and I’ll be free!!! Sem break here I come!~
As promised from my last Nose Strip Review that I’ll have a battle royale I’ve tried so many nose strips XD And I think it’s only right to have a comparative review :)

Battle Royale Contestants: (From L ~ R) Iwhite; Saizen Charcoal Mask; Bench Charcoal Nose Strip; Beauty Credit Charcoal Nose Strip; Purederm Nose Strips Aloe, Orig, Tea Tree; Tony Moly Nose Strip Charcoal, Tea Tree; Etude House Green Tea Nose Strip.
And the battle begins!
Round 1: Price
Round 2: Effectiveness
Round 3: Scent
Round 4: Packaging
Round 5: Clean Factor
Round 6: Hurt Points
Round 7: Bonus Round
And the Top 4 that rose above the rest are…

Bench Charcoal Nose Strip, has always been my favorite :) Beauty Credit’s Nose Strip was a recent find! :D Tony Moly Tea Tree Nose Strip and Etude House Green Tea Nose Strips are always hard to find! You are lucky if you get one since these sell out fast!
Final Ranking:
But the most effective for me is Purederm’s Aloe Nose Strip, it’s just that the smell bothers me @.@

Annyong haseyo~ I’ve been really busy lately, and I’m lucky to have time to make this review :> kekeke I will try to be active as possible :) Today’s product is from Beauty Credit :)
Those who have been reading my blog for quite some time knows that I’m finding the perfect nose strip :) That’s why I keep on trying different ones :D
One day while I was browsing around Watsons I saw Beauty Credit/ Somang’s Charcoal Nose Pore Strip (Nose Pore Cleaning Patch) costs 31.50 pesos, not the cheapest one in the market.
As for all nose strips, it has 2 sides :)

The non shiny side…

And the shiny side :) this is the side facing your nose~

Since it’s all in Hangul, I just followed my gut on how these nose strips are supposed to be used :)
Bambambam~~ Warning next photos contain sebum >.<

It does work! Though I am surprised to see that my whiteheads and blackheads are these short XD
It has that irritating smell of strong gulaman T.T (I don’t hate gulaman though but the smell is so strong) and it stayed for the whole 20 mins.

Beauty Credit has two nose strips, this one and the other one that has a drawing of a man on it but it says 2% instead of 5%.
PROS:
CONS:
Oh~~ I’ve tried so many nose strips! Going to make a comparative Battle of the Nose Strips :)
Erika’s Weather Forecast: Draw windows, furniture, floor pattern, architectural details, interior elevations… fighting~ aja aja!!!

Annyong haseyo! Today’s review will be about concealing lips! This product is from Beauty Credit I got it a couple of months back :)(http://erikajjang.tumblr.com/post/5629153073/somang-beauty-credit)
What are lip concealers?
Well these are products that will lighten lip color for lip stick to appear more vibrantly. It also helps even out lip color!
Lip concealers are perfect for those who want to wear lighter shades like pink or go all nude :D

There are only two lip concealers that are available here in the Philippines (but I guess there are some others but I haven’t seen those >.<) This one and the one from Etude!~

When blended it’s almost unnoticeable!~
Scroll down a bit to see how effective lip concealers are for lightening lip color :D

I’m using Estee Lauder 118 Bois de Rose with Beauty Credit’s Lovely Tangtang stick concealer.

Dark lips on the outer parts (NO, I REPEAT, I DON’T SMOKE~) :))

Beauty Credit’s Lip Concealer when applied! It goes on smoothly! :> And with just one swipe it can conceal dark lips :)

Lip Concealer + Red Lipstick = Tada!~~PINK Lips! <3

Here’s the original color of the lipstick without lip concealer :) It’s on the border line of red and pink :>

Closer look on how amazingly blended the lip color is! Take note that I did not use any lip brush I applied the lipstick directly after the lip concealer.

Looks like all the product got removed right? Tested how long lasting it will be…

See see! It’s still on!The color is still there :D

Added lip gloss over the wiped off lip stick and concealer and created a glossy effect ;D
PROS:
CONS:
*I don’t recommend this to those who want red lips! This will totally make your red lipstick pink!

*googled the meaning of tangtang (was just too curious) and in bisaya it meant removal kekeke~ Removal of lip color perhaps?
ADDITIONAL According to beauty credit:
Tangtang in Korean language (pronounced “tengteng”) means Resilience, tightness, elasticity. When a skin is Tangtang in korean, it means it is youthful, with vibrance (such as the skin of a baby… when the skin gets older, then it develops wrinkles and such is not tangtang anymore ^^)
*Beauty Credit Philippines said that this is a concealer for the face T.T What??? I’m confused who shall I believe? I will try using this for the face.
~~Tried it on the face, I like it better as a lip concealer, it’s up to you if you want it only for your face.
Erika’s Weather Forecast: Why so hot?!?! Electric Fan can’t take the heat T.T’

Annyong haseyo! :)
Time for another makeup review!~
As some of you may know I recently discovered that Beauty Credit has stores/ sections in Watsons here in the Philippines. Such a shame
that they don’t have their own stores here, because they have such promising products!

Beauty Credit’s adorably cute logo is a rocking horse!
YEAY for cute packaging! :) <3 (I think local brands here should consider making their packaging cute! As it attracts customers :)… just a suggestion :D )

I got SVG02 which looks like the sky when it’s a nice day with added gold and silver shimmer :) OMO such a pretty color!
*TIP: To get the no makeup look try using yellow/ silver shadow for the lower lash line! Brightens up eyes without being too obvious
Here’s how it looks like when applied:

Does not look too obvious right? :) kekeke! (Since I have an eye for shimmery sparkly
shadows but I don’t want to put it all over my lids, I use this for everyday look!)

Handy little mirror inside!
Travel friendly and good for quick touch ups!

Very pretty rocking horse embedded :)
To sum it all up:

One swipe and you’re done!
OMO! I visited Watsons (SM North) and I saw Beauty Credit products there! But the prices are super x2 plus plus! I want to go back to Subic and haul as much as I can!
Erika’s Weather Forecast: Rocking Horse logo is so cute! Beauty Credit, I hope you get stores soon!~

Annyong! I’m so happy to introduce to you my newly discovered Korean Cosmetics brand! >.< Beauty Credit! (or Somang in Korea)

Story behind my discovery of Beauty Credit…
While driving to Royal Duty Free in Subic Yesterday we came across rows of shops… Then I saw Ku Hye Sun’s face!(Guem Jandi in BOF) :)) And the name Beauty Credit rings a bell :) So after going to Duty Free my sister and I immediately went to see the store >.<
Luckily the store was open until 9 pm :) we got there at 8 waha! So lucky! I was really hurrying to get inside! Seeing Ku Hye Sun’s face outside really makes me happy… X) BOF FAN FOREVER! “@.@
The saleslady was really nice and accommodating! :) She didn’t bug us like normal salesladies would :)) (haha I hate it when salesladies approach and recommend stuff I am not asking about XD) She even compared it to Skin Food (also a Korean Cosmetic Brand, which by the way I think is UBER EXPENSIVE!) Skin food is to Fruit while Beauty Credit is to Ginseng ;)
For the price range I think it is very competitive some of its products are even cheaper than Etude House’s OMO! Yes! :) To have a view the shop looks like the Face shop’s and the prices are like Etude House’s :))
Here are some things I got from the shop :)

80 pesos! :D ~I was running out of oil films @.@

Lip Concealer! Available in 2 shades: Natural Beige and Skin Beige ;) This was priced 300 but it was 30 percent off!

Cute Packaging for the win! Rocking Horse emblem :D Eyeshadows were super cute! Nice pastel colors with a little bling >.<

Cute horse!! :) Waha this was priced 200 and was on sale too! 50 percent off!~ happy happy >.<
I was so glad to see PERCENT OFF signs :) Waha some even reached 70 percent off! :) OMO I can’t wait to come back there! Next time when I go to Subic Imma bring me some money kekeke :))
They have so much variety of products in the store! The hair color choices were to be crazy for! The most expensive is 400 pesos (yes it will be further reduced due to a 30 percent discount) and the colors range from violet, blue to the naturals like brown and black ;)
Lipsticks were such a variety too!! :) Mommy even bought one since they have more matured colors like dark pinks and reds :) (Cheap too, less than 300 pesos)
OHH How I wished I had money yesterday! X) Then I could have hauled!! :))

Photo taken from: http://sookyeong.wordpress.com
Ku Hye Sun is really cute! :) Currently they only have 2 stores :( One in MOA and one in Subic :( TOO FAR! My wish for them is to open more stores! PLEASE :) :D
Erika’s Weather Forecast: Someday I’ll go back there and buy some BB creams :))
